A question we receive frequently is:

What are incremental backups?

Incremental backups consist of the following:

  • A full account backup is initially created
  • Each additional backup job ran then backs up only the changed files since the last backup.

This allows backup jobs to run faster and more efficiently since only the files changed since the last backup was processed are included in the backup job, but still keeping a full backup of the account with multiple restore points/dates, so it can be restored in full at any time using a specific restore point/date.

If you still have questions or concerns regarding backups, please feel free to submit a ticket and we will be happy to answer your questions!
