403 Errors with certain Softaculous Apps Print

With ModSecurity enabled (enabled by default) you may encounter 403 permission denied errors with some apps you install from Softaculous due to some ModSecurity rules not playing well with those specific apps.


If you experience a 403 error while using an app installed from Softaculous, such as CS-Cart, Abantecart, OS-Cart, Xenforo, OpenCart, etc., simply submit a support ticket letting us know the app you are using and ask that the offending ModSecurity rules be disabled for your account.


Alternatively, you can completely disable ModSecurity in cPanel (not recommended).
