IPv6 Now Supported!

After many requests, IPv6 is now available on all of our Linux/cPanel servers!

What is IPv6?

IPv6 is an updated Internet Protocol designed to replace IPv4.

Since IPv4 doesn’t have enough IP addresses to go around, IPv6 was created to fix that.

IPv6 has about 340 undecillion IP addresses, so the likelihood of running out of IP's with IPv6 is quite low.

An example of a IPv4 IP address:

123.123.123.123

An example of a IPv6 IP address:

1234:1234:1234:1234:1234:1234:1234:1234

How do I use IPv6 for my account/domains?

IPv6 is now enabled by default on all cPanel accounts/domains.

Can I use IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time?

Yes! Enabling IPv6 does not affect IPv4 for your domains. Your domains will use IPv4 and IPv6 IP addresses simultaneously.
